Community Services for Children

Early Head Start Fit-Out | Allentown, PA
MKSD Architects, Snyder Hoffman Associates, Pennoni Associates Inc.
Size:  10,650 SF

Bracy Construction provided pre-construction and construction management services for the new CSC (Community Services for Children) Early Head Start facility in Allentown.

This project consisted of approximately 10,650 SF of renovated space.  Bracy worked with the design team (MKSD Architects, Snyder Hoffman Associates, Pennoni Associates Inc.) to provide value engineering during the abbreviated pre-construction phase to help bring the project within budget.

There were several challenges involved with renovating a very old hospital basement, one of which included saw-cutting 2’ thick concrete foundation walls to meet the sight line requirements for staff to children.  The entire team overcame the limitations of the basement to adhere to the numerous requirements associated with building a space for at rest children up to 3 years in age. Bracy is proud to have taken part in a project that will help the most vulnerable children in our community.
