Bangor Area School District

This project consisted of an addition and extensive interior and exterior renovations to the existing two story stone veneered elementary school.  The existing elementary school was in need of upgrades and the Bangor School District also needed a major addition to accommodate the increasing population in the district.  The architect’s goal was to create a major addition that matched the overall appearance of the existing school building, while providing the necessary additional space.

The new two story addition contains:                                                                                                                                               Full court basketball gymnasium                                                                                                                                                    (28) classrooms                                                                                                                                                                                    (4) science rooms                                                                                                                                                                                Teacher prep rooms                                                                                                                                                                             Administration offices                                                                                                                                                                      Cafeteria with full kitchen and food service equipment
