Meet the Team
President / Owner
Mr. Puchyr is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (A.E.) and Spring Garden College (B.S., Civil Engineering) Upon graduation, he was employed by D’Lauro Construction of Philadelphia, PA as a Project Manager and Estimator. In 1975, Mr. Puchyr joined Ray B. Bracy Construction of Allentown, Pa., becoming Vice President in 1984. In 1987, Mr. Puchyr became President and Owner of Bracy Contracting Inc., having successfully completed over $800,000,000 in local construction projects.
Matt joined Bracy in 2010 and has the responsibility of managing projects from estimation through closeout. As a key member of Bracy’s rising project management team, Matt has gained expertise in Healthcare, Institutional and Industrial/ Manufacturing sectors. His project experience includes the award-winning Levitt Pavilion, Kutztown University Maintenance and Administrative buildings, and Lehigh Valley Health Network On-Call rooms.
Matt earned his Civil Engineering degree from Villanova University, where he was a member of the Villanova Rugby Football Club. During his time at Villanova, Matt also gained relevant and rewarding experience as a member of the Amigos de Jesus Mission trip to Honduras and working as an intern for the London Underground, in London England.
Joe Jackson LEED GA
Joe joined Bracy in early 2014 and brings over 8 years of project management experience from the leading general contractor in the US. At Bracy, Joe oversees several projects and performs a wide range of functions, including project management, marketing and business development. Additionally, Joe is utilizing his experience working with Lean construction management practices to implement a collaborative approach to projects at Bracy in which efficiency is continuously improved and waste reduced.
Joe earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
Vice President of Operations
Jim joined Bracy in 1988 and has been the Vice President of Operations since 1995. Under almost three decades of Jim’s guidance, Bracy has successfully delivered hundreds of projects to its clients. Jim has also been an invaluable mentor to Bracy staff, always ensuring that his team has the tools needed to succeed. Jim and Bracy have had the privilege of constructing many of the educational, health care, industrial and commercial buildings you see today in the Lehigh Valley, including the Jaindl Bank and Carpenter Incorporated.
Jim received his B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Kutztown University.
Mike has been a key member of the Bracy team since 2006. At Bracy, he is involved in projects from conception to completion. Some of the key functions of Mike’s work include estimating, de-scoping proposals, contract negotiation, value engineering, submittals and material purchasing. Mike’s expertise have made him a successful part of projects such as the Hanover Township Administration and Public Works Facility, Jackson Elementary School, St. Luke’s parking deck and the Cetronia Ambulance Corps building.
Mike is a graduate of Villanova University, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and has recently begun a new venture brewing his own beer.
Cost Control Director
Amy joined the Bracy team in 2014 and has played a vital role in the company since then. She brings diverse skills from a 15 year career in accounting and business management in the manufacturing & construction industries. She oversees the accounting and administrative staff ensuring day to day business processes run smoothly. Amy provides a key link between project management staff and office staff, overseeing job cost accounting, invoice management and insurance/benefits & contract administration.
Amy earned her A.A.S. in Accounting from Northampton Community College and is currently pursuing her BA in Accounting from DeSales University.
Assistant Project Manager
Jim joined the Bracy team in 2011 as an Assistant Project Manager. Jim plays the vital role of effectively facilitating communication between the client, architect and subcontractors. He has contributed his skills in management and estimating on projects such as Allentown School District renovations and Vive Health and Fitness.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from James Madison University and is particularly savvy in analyzing financial markets and macroeconomic events.
Assistant Project Manager
Andrew joined Bracy in 2016, bringing with him the experience of working with one of the top architecture firms in the Lehigh Valley. He is able to draw on his architecture experience & education when dealing with clients & other design professionals as well as his construction experience growing up with a Father who was a subcontractor himself. When not on the jobsite, Andrew spends his time outside traveling, hiking or camping...by foot, horse or motorcycle!
Andrew earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Penn State University.
Nick joined the Bracy team in 2008. As part of the accounting staff, Nick is responsible for a variety of duties that ensure Bracy’s financial operations run smoothly. His key responsibilities include general ledger, cash management, accounts payable / receivable, & payroll.
Nick earned his B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado and received his MBA from DeSales University. Nick is also an outdoor enthusiast, runner and dodgeball competitor; and a contributing member of the Allentown Art Museum, volunteer and contributing member of the National MS Society.
Shirley joined Bracy over 20 years ago and has played a key role in supporting the office staff and business operations. At Bracy, Shirley is responsible for assisting project managers with submittals, RFI’s, meeting minutes, close-out documents and organizing each of Bracy’s project bidding process and proposal booklets.
